Growing production company
HR as a Service
An East Flemish production company grew from forty to almost ninety employees in six years. The order books were full, the machines were running, but HR had been involved all this time by the manager and the office manager. Contracts were drawn up on an ad hoc basis, there were hardly any employment regulations, and there was no onboarding or remuneration policy.
The consequences were felt. New employees dropped out too quickly, managers did not really know where they stood, and there were legal risks lurking in the way everything was arranged. The company did not need a thick HR report, but someone who could effectively set up HR.

Two companies, one payslip
HR as a Service
A West Flemish services company with around 250 employees took over a second company and had to fully merge with it. A growth story on paper. In practice, a minefield, with payroll as the biggest risk.
The two companies worked with different social secretariats, fell under different joint committees and applied different wage structures and employment conditions. In addition, employees worked in multiple countries, each with their own local payroll rules and providers. Everything had to grow together, while every pay slip had to remain correct down to the euro, in every country. One mistake and the employees' confidence was immediately hit.

A South Limburg company in the healthcare sector, with around 180 employees, saw its HR manager unexpectedly leave. The worst possible moment: there was a major recruitment campaign, the outdated ATS was in urgent need of replacement and the social elections were approaching. From one day to the next, a hole threatened to fall in a position that held everything together.
The question was not only how everything kept running, but also how to prevent knowledge and current files from being lost.
